FIRST FLOOR RENOVATION FUND DRIVE

The Brunk Morgan Horse Museum, Inc. has utilized the services of a strategic planner/professional grants person to assist in long term planning. The Museum Board has adopted a strategic plan after extensive public input and the plan is now in the first phase of implementation. The museum is seeking to stabilize and “open” the first floor of the original Brunk residence as a part of the first phase. The museum will apply for grant funds from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affair’s-Division of Tourism. The tourism attraction program grant deadline is August 1, 2002 and the program requires the museum to raise funds to match the possible state grant award.

The Brunk Morgan Horse Museum, Inc. is seeking donations and pledges from interested museum supporters. Donated monies along with pledge and grant monies will be applied to the First Floor Renovation Fund. Pledges only become due if the museum is actually awarded the grant; however, in order to be considered, pledge forms must be included with the grant application.

The First Floor Renovation Fund Drive goal is $35,000. The Museum board sincerely hopes you will consider making a donation to the First Floor Renovation Fund, allowing the museum to take advantage of the outstanding opportunity to double available funds through this matching state grant. As always any contribution to the museum are “charitable” as the museum is an IRS recognized 501 c3, non-for-profit corporation.
